MLB Handicaps: Day 6

If H+R+RBI is unavailable to you then I suggest you split a 1 unit bet 33% each or whatever % you’d like to 1 or 2 hits, 1 run & 1 RBI. You should get + money on 2/3 of those and that will help long term. Or find a way to pair them up in 2’s or 3’s (parlay). For baseball season, I personally bet 1 unit to win X and don’t lay more than -165. These plays also work great with PrizePicks. Questions? Just ask! Follow for more!

MLB Units for March/April (+1.14 units)

Early Slate

  • 3:00pm cst: Minnesota Twins (-102) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (-118); Total 8.5

The Brewers have been red hot and now it’s time for their home opener. Last time we saw the Twins they were blown out 11-0. They still have a strong offense and they also have done well against Brewers pitcher Jake Junis. I think we get some runs in this game.

Pick: OVER 8.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

Evening Slate

  • 5:30pm cst: Kansas City Royals (+136) vs. Baltimore Orioles (-162); Total 8.5

Baltimore is on fire and they will have Cole Irvin on the mound who was great for them last year. The Royals pitcher Alec Marsh was roughed up pretty good last season and I think the O’s will take advantage of him. If the Royals had a stronger pitcher on the mound I would lay the ML but with the + money I will go with the RL. Dealers choice.

Pick: Orioles -1.5 (+120) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:40pm cst: Cincinnati Reds (+120) vs. Philadelphia Phillies (-142); Total 8

As we learned last night, the Phillies have a terrible bullpen. It has gotten off to a very rocky start. I was surprised to see the price in this game and the Reds as an underdog with Graham Ashcroft on the mound. I like the Reds here, especially the price.

Pick: Reds (+120) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:40pm cst: Los Angeles Angels (+120) vs. Miami Marlins (-142); Total 9

Jesus Luzardo will be on the mound for Miami and he just might be the saving grace the Marlins need to finally get a win. Every Marlins game has gone over the total thus far so I am not sure if that is the route to go with Tyler Anderson on the mound for LA. I’m taking the Marlins to ride Luzardo to finally get a win.

Pick: Marlins (-142) [via DraftKings]

  • 6:00pm cst: Detroit Tigers (+114) vs. New York Mets (-130); Total 7.5

Casey Mize is back on the mound for the Tigers after having Tommy John surgery. A day where we can back Mize and fade the Mets? Sign me up.

Pick: Tigers (+114) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00pm cst: Toronto Blue Jays (+124) vs. Houston Astros (-148); Total 8.5

The Astros are coming off throwing a no-hitter last night but Framber Valdez will be on the mound today. I have not liked Framber’s form against the Blue Jays. Jose Berrios has been a bit stronger. I like the plus money here.

Pick: Blue Jays (+124) [via DraftKings]

Night Slate

  • 8:40pm cst: New York Yankees (-108) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (-112); Total 8.5

Nasty Nestor on the mound for the Yankees and I did not like how he looked against the Astros. He definitely started slow. Zac Gallen at this price is hard to beat at home.

Pick: Diamondbacks (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 8:40pm cst: Boston Red Sox (-155) vs. Oakland Athletics (+130); Total 8

This Oakland team is so bad and toxic, we are forced to fade them on a nightly basis. They are terrible on defense with countless errors and cannot hit. A Martingale method fading the A’s would be wise.

Pick: Red Sox -1.5 (+105) [via DraftKings]
