College Baseball World Series Championship: Game 3
We have made it to Omaha for the College Baseball World Series. We will break down todays games and will have a power rankings listed below to help those who are looking for CWS futures. We will have wagers throughout the weekend and we still have our futures. We are betting 1 unit to win x and for baseball we do not go lower than -165. This is a steep price but there are opportunities where the number should be -200 so this is why that is our limit. On the games where we have a ML and RL bet you can always choose whichever price is best for you, rather than playing both. Check out our home page where all the regional handicaps will be daily.
College Baseball World Series Record: (+11.92 units)
6:00pm cst: LSU Tigers (-150) vs. Florida Gators (+120)
Wow what a game last night from Florida! They were in some tough situations early in Game 2 but persevered to earn a massive win against LSU. Now, the Tigers have used their top pitchers and much of the bullpen in last nights blowout loss. Will the LSU pitching staff have enough for one final game against Florida? I would imagine LSU will have all hands on deck tonight. It would be hard to believe Paul Skenes pitches again but I guess crazier things have happened. Florida most likely will have Jac Caglianone who pitched a great game against TCU in his last outing. There is multiple ways of looking at this game: 1. LSU got their teeth kicked in and will want revenge after one of the most embarrassing games in Omaha history. 2. Florida is so locked in they pick up where they left off last night and do not look behind. The amount of errors LSU made last night is never good to see. The LSU pitching may be hanging on by a thread after multiple win or go home games and using five pitchers out of the bullpen just last night. The situation cannot be ignored. I favor Florida’s Caglianone on the mound and their rested bullpen. The offense could be a toss up after the performance last night. That is why I am leaning heavily on the Gators pitching. It would be malpractice on the LSU Managers part if he pitched Paul Skenes today after playing him in that Game 3 vs. Wake Forest. The weather looks like it will be 13 mph winds with 23 mph gusts blowing into right center field. After the amount of runs last night, playing another over would be dicey but with these offenses anything can happen. Like I said, I prefer siding with the stronger pitching in the biggest game of Jac Caglianone’s life to date rather than a bullpen game from LSU who may be short on confidence.
No matter how tonight plays out this has been an incredibly successful College World Series and college baseball season overall. I cannot wait to do it all over again next year as we will be covering college baseball all season. Thank you to everyone who has joined us on this ride! Let’s go out with a bang!
