7:00PM CT: Auburn Tigers -1 vs. Baylor Bears; Total 57
I’m not buying Auburn; it’s three quarterbacks and three play-callers. It sounds like a recipe for disaster, especially knowing who the starting quarterback is—Jackson Arnold. I am not sold on this Auburn team. They have a ton of talent at the WR position and offensive line. Can Arnold get them the ball, though? The Tigers lost so many players on defense. It’s definitely a rebuild. Are they worth the hype? Baylor, on the other hand, has high expectations this season, and it all starts with the players they return. QB Robertson is back, looking to have his breakout season. In OC Jake Spavital’s second season, I can see Baylor improving mightily on offense. The best part about Baylor is that the defense looks to be in the best shape in years. SEC vs. Big 12 in Waco, and I’m siding with the Bears. I’m fading Jackson Arnold, buying Sawyer Robertson, and backing this Bears defense. I also sent this out on X (Twitter) last night.

7:00PM CT: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets -3.5 vs. Colorado Buffaloes; Total 50
The Yellow Jackets are on the rise, but will they take a step back from last season? QB Haynes King returns, and they bring in some offensive weapons to help out. The offensive line may not be as good either. The defense also loses players along the defensive line, some linebackers, and DBs. Is there that big of a talent difference between GT and Colorado? The Buffs bring in an experienced starter in QB Kaidon Salter. Look for Colorado to run the ball more as most of their top receivers were lost to the NFL. The upgrade on the offensive line should help, though. The defense also improved. This should be a close game. I was able to grab 4 with the Buffaloes, and this one might close 3.5. Colorado has a shot here as well.

8:30PM CT: UNLV Rebels -9 vs. Sam Houston Bearkats; Total 61
Both of these teams played in Week 0 and did not look great! Sam Houston had some flashes, but their defense was awful! WKU threw the ball all over the field on the Bearkats’ defense. UNLV struggled with Idaho State and probably should’ve lost. Not sure what to think about either of these teams, but I don’t think UNLV should be a 9-point favorite on the road. Sam Houston is back in their home stadium after renovations. I can see them keeping this one close because of how bad both defenses are. I can see touchdowns, and this one getting OVER 61.
