UFL Season Record: (0.00 Units) [all bets 1 unit to win x]

  • 12:00pm cst: Birmingham Stallions -4 vs. Arlington Renegades; Total 41.5

This is a matchup of the USFL’s past champion against the XFL’s past champion, locking horns to kick off the UFL debut season. Offensively, it looks like the Stallions have a strong offensive roster, but they still do have inexperienced QBs. The starter will be Matt Corral, who was a strong starter at Ole Miss but did not get much run in the NFL after being drafted by the Carolina Panthers. Arlington, on the other hand, traded for a seasoned veteran, Luis Perez, that paid dividends almost immediately with the Renegades winning the XFL Championship. The offense stayed mostly the same, but in a tight game, I will take the veteran Perez along with head ball coach Bob Stoops to kick the season off getting points. I also think this game will go over the total with both offenses looking to air it out to start the season.

Pick: Renegades ML (+175) [via BetOnline]

Pick: OVER 41.5 (-110) [via BetOnline]

  • 3:00pm cst: St. Louis Battlehawks -7 vs. Michigan Panthers; Total 41.5

We know the Battlehawks overachieved last year with some incredible come-from-behind victories. Will they be able to replicate those wins? Michigan has an average lineup and quarterback, but they always seemed to put up points or give them up. We are still waiting to learn more about these teams, but picking up seven points at home against a team that plays every game close? We might not be able to pass that up. This might be an underrated Panthers offense against an overvalued Battlehawks team. What the heck, let’s go for it.

Pick: Panthers +7.5 (-110) [via BetOnline]

Pick: Panthers ML (+270) [via BetOnline]

Pick: OVER 41.5 (-110) [via BetOnline]
