Ruben’s Rants: To Pay the Rent or Not?

Boy, wouldn’t it be nice to go to an NFL game like the Dallas Cowboys without losing my living situation? I’m wondering why I should pay $350.00 for nose bleed seats, $285.00 each for a two nights stay at a hotel and then $100.00 for Parking. Seriously? I’m not even going to talk about the concession prices and the twenty five minute wait for the restroom. Now don’t get me wrong I’m a Capitalist all the way and Jerry Jones is a great business man but a horrible owner. Why should people continue to pay outrageous prices for mediocre results? While Jerry Jones continues to line his pockets off of loyal fans, himself as Owner & General Manager is providing a product not worthy of the costs?
Jerry might want to take a page out of the playbook from Mr. Arthur Blank the Atlanta Falcons owner and at least give the fans some value. As for me, I will stay home and enjoy my crystal clear TV picture and a $1.50 beer vs. the alternative of being bled dry attending a Cowboys game. Now that I’m in the comfort of my home I will get to watch the game and pay the rent while doing so! And the rants continue.
