NFL Preseason Friday

We are getting closer and closer to the regular season. We will try and have some handicaps for the games using as much information as we can to peel off some winners for y’all.
NFL Preseason Record: (-1.09 units)
6:00pm cst: NY Giants -1.5 vs. Detroit Lions; Total 35
Both of these teams have strong quarterback rooms, and most will be pushing to be the backup or make the roster. The Giants will have Tyrod Taylor and Tommy DeVito from Illinois. We know what we will be getting from Tyrod, but we are not sure about DeVito. The Lions, on the other hand, have quite a few that will be fighting for playing time in the fall: Hendon Hooker from Tennessee, but he is coming off an ACL injury and I am not sure; Teddy Bridgewater; and Adrian Martinez from Kansas State. I prefer these Lions QBs and their outside weapons. I will take the home team with a short number.
Pick: Lions ML (+102)
6:00pm cst: Green Bay Packers -4 vs. Cincinnati Bengals; Total 35
The Packers’ quarterback room is actually loaded this season with Jordan Love finally getting to show off his talent, as well as USFL MVP Alex McGough, who I feel will be a great NFL backup and spot starter. The Bengals will be dealing with a QB carousel and there is not much talent behind Joe Burrow. Cinci will need to figure out a solution soon. I like GB and the potential they have offensively this season with Love, who was handpicked by the head coach Matt LaFleur.
Pick: Packers -4 (-110)
6:00pm cst: Pittsburgh Steelers -3 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Total 39.5
This is an easy one for me. I like the Steelers because the Buccaneers have looked terrible in camp. From Baker Mayfield to Kyle Trask, it has not looked great. I think the Steelers will be a little bit hungrier. There is just a huge lack of talent in Tampa Bay and they will be ‘tanking’ for the #1 pick for a franchise QB. The Bucs front office will be happy with a terrible season. The Steelers were also undefeated in the preseason last year so they should be focused.
Pick: Steelers -3 (-110)
6:00pm cst: Atlanta Falcons -1 vs. Miami Dolphins; Total Over 37
I like these offenses and coaches who will want to move the football. The Falcons have a ton of running backs and weapons on the outside. The Dolphins have veteran quarterbacks who will look to air it out with Mike White and Skylar Thompson. The spread is tight at -1 so I like this one to go over the total.
Pick: Over 37 (-110)
9:00pm cst: Denver Broncos -6 vs. Arizona Cardinals; Total 37.5
I feel like the Broncos have the better young QBs like Jared Stidham and Ben DiNucci, XFL legend. The Broncos and Sean Payton should come out focused but is 6 points too many? The highest spread we have seen is 4 when the Texans were favored and that won. I will lay it with the Broncos because of their quarterbacks.
Pick: Broncos -6
