  • 6:15pm cst: New Orleans Saints -3 vs. Carolina Panthers; Total 39.5

The Panthers are coming off a rough first game with Bryce Young in Atlanta, but the Saints were not very impressive in their debut either. It took a while for Carr to get into rhythm, but it was a field goal fest for the Saints until the very end of the game. The Panthers’ defense, with its back against the wall, needs a spirited effort tonight. CJ Stroud, another rookie QB, had a great bounce-back game at home, and I feel like Young will have the same success against a division rival. The Panthers have had great success against the Saints, especially at home.

Pick: Panther +3 (-105) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:15 cst: Cleveland Browns -2 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers; Total 39

The Steelers were embarrassed last Sunday against one of the best defenses in the NFL, the San Francisco 49ers. Now, they will face another strong defense in the Browns. Kenny Pickett did not get off to a hot start that some expected after his strong preseason. Now, he has a struggling offensive line, an injured WR and a whining George Pickens. The Steelers have won 22 straight Monday night games, but will the streak end tonight or continue? I am going with the away team here. I like the Browns’ defense against an ailing Steelers’ offense.

Pick: Browns -2 (-112) [via DraftKings]
