NFL Season Record: 26-27-5 - Betting 1 Unit to Win X

  • 12:00pm cst: Minnesota Vikings vs. Cincinnati Bengals -3; Total 41

We are not too sure what to expect from the Vikings and 4th string quarterback Nic Mullens. Mullens has plenty of experience but it has been awhile aside from a little playing time last week. The Viking hot streak has come to a complete halt. The Bengals on the other hand are heating up with backup quarterback Jake Browning playing like a real NFL starter. I have always been high on Browning as he was a four year starter at Washington. The Bengals offense looks great and I think their pass rush will give the Vikings trouble. I am laying it with the Bengals at home with two teams going in opposite directions.

Pick: Bengals -3 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 3:30pm cst: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts -1; Total 42.5

The Steelers will be off a little extra rest after their Thursday game against the Patriots where they looked awful. Mitch Trubisky made some terrible throws but he also kept the Steelers in the game. Both of these teams are fighting for playoff spots so this is a massive game. The roof will be closed at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is always a good sign for the Colts. It is hard to go against Indy at home in a coin flip. The Steelers defense is tough but they can only do so much. I have to back the Colts in what I feel like is too short of a number. Minshew cannot turn the ball over. Still, I trust him at home much more than Trubisky.

Pick: Colts -1 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:00pm cst: Denver Broncos vs. Detroit Lions -4.5; Total 48

Which Jared Goff will be showing up today? The one that turns the ball over 4+ times and loses or the one that pieces up defenses at will? After getting their tail kicked by the Bears I think they will bounce back but not so fast! This Broncos defense is one of the best in the NFL right now. I think this game will land 3 or 4. I am not a believer in this Lions team but we will see how they do back at home. I am taking the points with Russel Wilson and this Broncos defense.

Pick: Broncos +4.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]
