NFL Season Record: 10-10-3 (-0.97 units) - Betting 1 Unit to Win X
8:30am cst: Atlanta Falcons vs. Jacksonville Jaguars -3
Pick: Jaguars -3 (-110) Gave out on Twitch Friday and Saturday night.
12:00pm cst: Cincinnati Bengals -2.5 vs. Tennessee Titans; Total 41.5
The Titans have been struggling this season mostly due to their offensive line and passing game with Tannehill at the helm. The Bengals have not been great to start the season but after the victory against the Rams that may be the turning point for this team. I like the Bengals pass rush to give the Titans trouble. Historically the Bengals have been the Titans kryptonite.
Pick: Bengals -2.5 (-115) [via Caesars]
12:00pm cst: Baltimore Ravens -2 vs. Cleveland Browns; Total 38.5
Deshaun Watson is officially OUT. But if you listened to our Twitch show on Friday night then you know I love Dorian Thompson-Robinson as the Browns backup, a four year starter at UCLA. Watson has not been the player he was two + years ago and DTR might even be an upgrade. This line has moved since the news. People have not realized that this Browns defense is still playing and I think they will be motivated against a division rival and helping out the rookie quarterback. The Ravens and Lamar Jackson have yet to impress me this season. It’s Dawg Pound time!
Pick: Browns +2 (-110) [via Caesars]
12:00pm cst: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints -4; Total 41
I am going back to the well with the Buccaneers. They didn’t play a perfect game against the Eagles but I feel they didn’t play as terrible as the score made it seem. The Saints run so hot and cold on offense but I think the Bucs defense can help keep this game close with a banged up Derek Carr starting. If Baker doesn’t turn the ball over, which may be asking a lot, Tampa should be in this game until the end.
Pick: Buccaneers +4 (-110) [via DraftKings]
3:05pm cst: Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers -6.5; Total 48
Chargers have one of the worst defenses in the NFL and the Raiders will be starting rookie Aiden O’Connell. I think the Raiders will be pushing the offense to make everyone happy or at least try to. Chargers will have Ekeler back and will look to expose the Raiders defense. I like this one to go over the total in an offense heavy game.
Pick: Over 48 (-110) [via DraftKings]
3:25pm cst: New England Patriots vs. Dallas Cowboys -6; Total 43
The Cowboys are coming off an embarrassing performance against the Cardinals. Now, Dallas is back home with its offensive line except for Tyron Smith. If the Cowboys can get out to a lead I think their defense and pass rush will make Mac Jones life a living hell. I think this is one the Cowboys run away with because they should not be looking ahead to the 49ers next week.
Pick: Cowboys -6 (-110) [via DraftKings]
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:
7:25pm cst: Kansas City Chiefs -8.5 vs. New York Jets; Total 41.5
There is constant drama and turmoil surrounding the Jets. I do not think this team is mentally prepared or ready to play as a team. Other than any Taylor Swift distractions the Chiefs should be ready to play. KC should be able to move the ball on this Jets defense. Something I do not think the Jets will be able to do against the Chiefs defense. The KC pass rush should give Zach Wilson and the offensive line plenty of trouble today.
Pick: Chiefs -8.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
