NBA Playoffs Record: 4-2 (+1.79 Units) — Betting 1 Unit to Win X
NBA Playoff Props from the Wizard & Genie: 5-5 (-0.51 Units)

It’s time for the NBA Playoffs! We had a great NBA season winning over seven units but it’s time for the playoffs. We will have plays on the spread for each game as we did last season when we were very successful. This season we are including our props that are also good to use in PrizePicks lineups from our Prop Department thanks to the dynamic duo of the Wizard and Genie. Let’s go!

  • 12:00pm ct: Orlando Magic vs. Cleveland Cavaliers -5; Total 207

Both of these teams limped into the playoffs but now it’s a fresh slate. These teams split the series this season each winning two games. There is not much correlation or reason to the wins. This might be a toss up series. Not knowing what to expect from either side, especially the young and hungry Magic. I’ll take the points, looking for a tight game. The Magic defense with Suggs and Isaac can give the Cavs problems.

Play: Magic +5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Franz Wagner Points OVER 19.5 (-102) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Darius Garland Points OVER 17.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:30pm ct: Phoenix Suns vs. Minnesota Timberwolves -1.5; Total 214

The Suns have dominated the T-Wolves by winning nine of the last ten games, covering all nine as well. The crowd will be hopping in Minnesota but will that be enough to overcome this tough matchup? It’s hard to ignore the run from Phoenix. I believe I read where Devin Booker is 11-1 against Anthony Edwards as well.

Play: Suns ML (+100) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Anthony Edwards Points UNDER 25.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Bradley Beal Points OVER 17.5 (-118) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Kevin Durant Points + Rebounds + Assists OVER 34.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:00pm ct: Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks -4.5; Total 208.5

The Knicks have had plenty of success against the Sixers this year but most of those games were without Joel Embiid. We still don’t know how healthy Embiid is. With Julius Randle out of the lineup, I give New York a huge advantage. He tends to take bad shots and hog the ball. Jalen Brunson is now able to run the offense much more smoothly. Home team have been rolling so far in the playoffs and I believe that will continue in this game.

Play: Knicks -4.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

Play: UNDER 208.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:40pm ct: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets -6.5; Total 227

Lakers are a solid team but the Nuggets are such a bad matchup for LA. Anthony Davis struggles against Jokic and we’ll see how they Lakers do after playing the Nuggets tough last year. I still think you have to back the defending champs until Lakers prove otherwise.

Play: Nuggets -6.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Nikola Jokic Points + Rebounds + Assists OVER 49.5 (-125) [via DraftKings]

Prop: LeBron James Points + Rebounds + Assists OVER 41.5 (-105) [via DraftKings]

Prop: Anthony Davis Points UNDER 23.5 (-102) [via DraftKings]
