NBA Sides Season Record: 22-19-4 (+2.08 Units) — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

• 6:00pm cst: Boston Celtics -3 vs. Philadelphia 76ers; Total 228

What a great matchup to kick off a fully loaded NBA slate. Celtics are getting a lot of respect here on the road. I do like how the Celtics look this season but the Sixers have been liberated from James Harden’s toxicity on and off the court. This has freed up Tyrese Maxey, which is crucial for the growth of this team. Derrick White will be back in the lineup for Boston but I like Philly at home in this one. Boston has been strong historically in Philadelphia but this is a new era for the Sixers who have been just as hot as the Celtics. I’m backing the home team here on the ML to grab the plus money. I feel this line should be even or Sixer -1. No respect for the Philly home court.

• 6:00pm cst: Utah Jazz vs. Indiana Pacers -6; Total 242.5

With Walker Kessler OUT for Utah they are going with more of an original smaller lineup with Keyonte George starting. We have talked about this before that if a team wins by 50 points it is an automatic fade in the next game.

• 6:30pm cst: San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks -9; Total 224

We got the injury information that we needed. Buying low on the Spurs after losing by 5o to the Pacers.

• 6:30pm cst: Los Angeles Clippers -5.5 vs. Brooklyn Nets; Total 231

The Clippers new rotation had a rough go of it against the Knicks. They all had a negative +/- and the Knicks pulled away with ease in the second half. The Nets have been red hot. I do not like these Clippers rotations and apparently Ty Lue is going to use this starting five for ten games until he switches things up. Clippers are favored by a couple too many here.

• 7:00pm cst: Cleveland Cavaliers -2.5 vs. Oklahoma City Thunder; Total 227.5

The Thunder have been a constant cash for us especially against the East. The bookmakers still do not respect them for whatever reason. Win or lose I cannot pass up the Thunder getting plus money at home. This is such a complete team.

Pick: Thunder ML (+120) [via DraftKings]

• 7:00pm cst: Phoenix Suns -1 vs. Chicago Bulls; Total 219.5

The Bulls are off to a solid start leading with their defense. This is just such a short number for an average Eastern Conference team against the Suns. Bradley Beal will also be making an appearance tonight with Booker OUT. I have to take the Suns here on this discount.

• 9:00pm cst: Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets -4; Total 227.5

Another great matchup tonight! I do rate the Nuggets better than the Warriors. This number is correct until we see them against each other and how they match up. I will lay it here with a fully rested Nuggets team at home.
