Early Slate
11:00am ct: San Francisco Giants (-112) vs. Miami Marlins (-108); Total 8
We have an early battle between two struggling pitchers. Keaton Winn is on the mound for the Giants and Taylor Rodgers is on the mound for the Marlins. Rodgers hasn’t done as bad as Winn though. He has also had success against most of the Giants’ lineup. It’s not easy backing the Marlins this season but that is where I’m going today. It’s a stand alone game so we will also have a play on the total.

12:00pm ct: Pittsburgh Pirates (+136) vs. New York Mets (-162); Total 8
Luis Severino has been great for the Mets. Bailey Falter is on the mound for the Pirates and the Mets love to face left handed pitchers. I think the Mets get some runs in this game. We are getting the run line at plus money so we’ll take a shot there.

12:00pm ct: Texas Rangers (+120) vs. Detroit Tigers (-148); Total 7.5
The wind is blowing in at Comerica Park once again. Dane Dunning is on the mound for the Rangers facing Tarik Skubal. I think we get another low scoring pitching duel in Detroit. It sets up that way.

1:00pm ct: Atlanta Braves (-135) vs. Houston Astros (+114); Total 9.5
The Astros are going through a tough time when it comes to their pitching staff. They have tons of injuries and today’s starter, JP France, has been beat up. Max Fried had a bad first start but has been great since. I think this is a cheap price on the Braves and we get to fade JP France again.

I think we have a pitchers duel in this game. Marcus Stroman against Kevin Guasman. Stroman is looking to bounce back after getting roughed up in his last outing.

3:00pm ct: Cincinnati Reds (+110) vs. Seattle Mariners (-130); Total 7.5
We have a great pitching matchup in this game with Andrew Abbott on the mound against Bryce Miller. Both pitchers are off to a hot start and with the wind blowing in at T-Mobile Park I like this to be a low scoring game.
