Early Slate
12:00pm cst: Texas Rangers (-122) vs. Detroit Tigers (+102); Total 8
The wind will be blowing in at Comerica Park, which is not good for this Tigers offense. Jon Gray was had a rough first start but has settled in since. Casey Mize is still trying to settle in from his injury. With the wind blowing in, both of the pitchers have been great so I think this can stay under the total. I also give the edge to the Rangers offense once the bullpens come in.

5:30pm cst: Minnesota Twins (+136) vs. Baltimore Orioles (-162); Total 8.5
It’s always hard for me to go against Grayson Rodriguez. His strikeout props is pretty high at 7.5 so I rather just back the Orioles. Chris Paddack has had his troubles and this Twins offense is tough to back. I’ll take this price with Baltimore.

6:00pm ct: New York Yankees (+100) vs. Toronto Blue Jays (-120); Total 8
I am still not confident in backing Carlos Rodon although he is off to a great start. Toronto is on a three game winning streak and Kikuchi is also off to a hot start. Let’s go with some props.

6:00pm ct: Pittsburgh Pirates (-108) vs. New York Mets (-112); Total 7.5
Don’t look now but the New York Mets are starting to heat up. This should be a great pitching matchup with the wind blowing in Citi Field. I like this game to stay under the total.

6:40pm ct: Kansas City Royals (-198) vs. Chicago White Sox (+164); Total 8
Brady Singer has been locked in this season. The White Sox will be starting rookie Jonathan Cannon making his MLB debut. He is a fastball power pitcher. With 20+ mph winds blowing in on the Southside, I like this one to go under. Always dicey with the White Sox but we are backing Cannon.

6:40pm ct: San Diego Padres (-115) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (-105); Total 8.5
I think this will be a pitching duel between Dylan Cease and Wade Miley. I like this one to stay under the total, which can be tough with the Brewers offense.
