MLB Sides & Totals: 6-5 (+1.52 units)
Early Slate
12:00PM CT: Chicago White Sox (+210) vs. Cleveland Indians (-258); Total 7
With Jonathan Cannon and Gavin Williams on the mound, I immediately looked at the total. Both pitchers have given up runs against their opponents today. I didn’t see any issues with the wind, but there might be some precipitation that shouldn’t affect much of the play. I’m fading these pitchers and betting on these offenses to finally wake up in this series.
Play: OVER 7 (-120) [via DraftKings]
12:00PM CT: LA Angels (+105) vs. Tampa Bay Rays (-125); Total 8
This felt like an even matchup and the number supports that. This one comes down to me wanting to back a strong Rays pitcher, Zach Littrell who has had success against the Angels but has loss his last three starts. Short number attempting to buy on the Rays.
Play: Rays (-125) [via DraftKings]
1:00PM CT: Minnesota Twins (-102) vs. Kansas City Royals (-118); Total 8.5
This is a total fade of Bailey Ober. He has been awful against the Royals. On the other side, Michael Wacha has been locked in. I liked this number and I’m happy to fade Ober and the struggling Twins offense.
Play: Royals (-118) [via DraftKings]
3:00PM CT: Toronto Blue Jays (+110) vs. Boston Red Sox (-130); Total 8.5
Walker Buhler has gotten off to a rough start to the season. For the Jays, Chris Bassitt has been hot to begin the season. I think Buhler has a bounce back game after two bad ones. Bassitt has been strong against the Red Sox but has lost his last two starts against them. I think the Red Sox avoid the sweep in a potential pitching duel. Alex Bregman and Rafael Devers love to face Bassitt.
Play: Red Sox (-130) [via DraftKings]
Play: UNDER 8.5 (-118) [via DraftKings]
Evening Slate
6:00PM Ct: Philadelphia Phillies (+114) vs. Atlanta Braves (-135); total 7.5
The Phillies are red hot with one of the best records and one of the best starts in their history. I think we are getting a pitching duel in this game between Jesus Luzardo and Spencer Schwellenbach. I was leaning with the Braves moneyline as well but it keeps running away from me. I should’ve taken it a few hours ago. I still like this one to stay UNDER. Hopefully the Braves bats remain cold. I don’t hate Braves ML but like I said, I hate not getting it twenty cents ago.
Play: UNDER 7.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]
