College Baseball World Series: Wednesday

We have made it to Omaha for the College Baseball World Series. We will break down todays games and will have a power rankings listed below to help those who are looking for CWS futures. We will have wagers throughout the weekend and we still have our futures. We are betting 1 unit to win x and for baseball we do not go lower than -165. This is a steep price but there are opportunities where the number should be -200 so this is why that is our limit. On the games where we have a ML and RL bet you can always choose whichever price is best for you, rather than playing both. Check out our home page where all the regional handicaps will be daily.

College Baseball World Series Record: (+4.85 units)

• 1:00pm cst: TCU Horned Frogs (+175) vs. Florida Gators (-215)

The wind will be blowing IN from centerfield again today, but it won’t be significant. Looking at 4 mph sustained with up to 7mph gusts. Florida’s Mr. Everything LHP Jac Caglianone will take the mound for the Gators in hopes to get to the CWS Final. TCU will need to defeat Florida twice to make the Final. As y’all should know by now, we are heavily invested in TCU. This number has been steaming all night on Florida. I disagree. Florida is off a day of rust … I mean rest. TCU and its offense has the momentum of staying fresh. Also, with the easy win against Oral Roberts they were able to save the bullpen. It will be all systems go for the Horned Frogs. In the back of Florida’s mind they know if they happen to lose they will have one more chance to bounce back with their ace on the mound. This mental safety net may hurt Florida. Time to push the chips to the center on the Horned Frogs and pick up one more 12/1 ticket on TCU.

Pick: TCU (+175)

• 6:00pm cst: Wake Forest Demon Deacons (-145) vs. LSU Tigers (+115)

We hit the nail on right on the head with the handicap on LSU vs. Tennessee. Too easy. I liked LSU in the first game and I like them again here today. We have LSU rated as the better offense with pitching staffs very similar. LSU gets revenge sending this to an intense Game 3. This matchup reminds me of the old Texas vs. Rice / Cal State Fullerton / Miami matchups. The best teams all season finally meet to see who is the best. I’m all LSU here in a massive revenge game. Like I said last night, this LSU team has not forgotten the way Wake Forest celebrated after winning that first matchup.
