College Baseball World Series: Monday
We have made it to Omaha for the College Baseball World Series. We will break down todays games and will have a power rankings listed below to help those who are looking for CWS futures. We will have wagers throughout the weekend and we still have our futures. We are betting 1 unit to win x and for baseball we do not go lower than -165. This is a steep price but there are opportunities where the number should be -200 so this is why that is our limit. On the games where we have a ML and RL bet you can always choose whichever price is best for you, rather than playing both. Check out our home page where all the regional handicaps will be daily.
College Baseball World Series Record: (+1.16 units)
1:00pm cst: Tennessee Volunteers (-150) vs. Stanford Cardinal (+120)
Quinn Matthews will be starting for Stanford today. That is all I need to know. Normally the start after a pitcher has an incredible performance, which he did against Texas striking out 16 with 156 total pitches. After a workload like that, I have to fade him in this start. Tennessee has a very capable offense and I believe they have the better bullpen as well.
Pick: Tennessee (-150) & Tennessee -1.5 (+100)
6:00pm cst: LSU Tigers (+120) vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (-150)
All postseason we have had LSU rated higher than Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons struggled a bit against Stanford so the strong pitching they have may be wearing down? It’s possible. The LSU offense is our best rated in the country. Wake is too large of a favorite in my opinion especially when LSU is the better team. I guess we finally get to find out.
Pick: LSU (+120)
College World Series Power Rankings:
LSU Tigers (1-0)
Wake Forest Demon Deacons (1-0)
TCU Horned Frogs (1-1)
Florida Gators (2-0)
Tennessee Volunteers (0-1)
Virginia Cavaliers (0-2)
Oral Roberts Golden Eagles (1-1)
Stanford Cardinal (0-1)
Our Futures Positions:
TCU Horned Frogs: 45/1, 15/1, 8/1 & 30/1 (pre regionals, pre supers, CWS & post loss CWS)
