College Baseball Wednesday

College Baseball season is making its triumphant return! Following our highly successful run last year, we are back with heightened expectations for an even more thrilling season.
When it comes to our wagers, we place a bet of 1 unit to win x. For baseball, we set a floor at -165. While this might seem like a steep price, there are instances where the number should be -200.
In games where we have both a Money Line (ML) and Run Line (RL) bet, you have the flexibility to choose the price that suits you best, instead of playing both.

College Baseball Record: 19-19-1 (-0.64) units)
12:00pm cst: Oregon State Beavers (-175) vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders (+135); Total 11.5
Oregon State will have RHP AJ Lattery, who threw 1.2 innings against New Mexico, allowing 2 hits and striking out three. Texas Tech will have Jacob Rogers, who was unable to get out of the first inning against Tennessee after allowing three walks and three earned runs (40.50 ERA). This game will be at Globe Life Field in Arlington. We do not know what we are getting with Rogers in his second start. We have to back the Beavers based on the pitching matchup to start the game. I will lay the 1.5 runs because if the Tech pitching staff gets roughed up.
Pick: Oregon State -1.5 (-120) [via DraftKings]
1:30pm cst: Old Dominion Monarchs (+230) vs. Virginia Cavaliers (-315); Total 13.5
Virginia swept Hofstra but a couple of the games were only two run wins. Old Dominion has also started the season hot especially their pitching staff with an ERA of 1.33. These two met last season and Virginia won 8-1. The Monarchs getting 3.5 runs feels like the way to go if this pitching staff stays hot. This will be a pitching staff game as well after yesterday’s matchup was canceled.
Pick: Old Dominion +3.5 (-125) [via DraftKings]
2:00pm cst: Virginia Tech Hokies (-220) vs. James Madison Dukes (+170); Total 14.5
This run line opened up with Virginia Tech -3.5 now it is down to 2.5, which is a little bit more manageable. The Dukes played Arkansas tough but only won one game. In the Hokies’ last game they got drilled by Charlotte. I think VaTech bounces back. This offense is scary. It will be a tough test for James Madison. We’ll take a chance here.
Pick: Virginia Tech -2.5 (-125) [via DraftKings]
3:00pm cst: Liberty Flames (+170) vs. Duke Blue Devils (-220); Total 13.5
Liberty has started (3-0) but I was so impressed with Duke over the weekend. We were extremely high on Duke last season and some injuries held them back slightly. I think they can be even better this season if they remain healthy. Duke rolled some tough competition this weekend and I think they keep it going in their home opener.
Pick: Duke -2.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
6:00pm cst: Fresno State Bulldogs (-125) vs. Sacramento State Hornets (-105); Total 13.5
Fresno State’s pitching staff is coming into this game almost unhittable. They also have the Hornets’ number historically in this rivalry game. I’m backing this undervalued Fresno State team.
Pick: Fresno State (-125) [via DraftKings]
7:00pm cst: Oklahoma State Cowboys (-280) vs. Abilene Christian Wildcats (+210); Total 13
We still do not know how good Oklahoma State is yet. Abilene Christian should still have a veteran squad that can steal a win here like they did against Oklahoma last year at Globe Life Field. Double dipping here.
Pick: Abilene Christian (+210) [via DraftKings]
Pick: Abilene Christian +3.5 (-130) [via DraftKings]
7:00pm cst: BYU Cougars (+140) vs. Cal Golden Bears (-180); Total 14.5
I still prefer Cal’s offense and we are high on them this season.
Pick: Cal -1.5 (-120) [via DraftKings]
