College Basketball Season Record: 230-232-13 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

  • 12:00pm cst: Saint Joseph’s Hawks vs. VCU Rams -2.5; Total 139.5

I think the clock has struck midnight on this Cinderella story. St. Joe’s has been on quite the fortunate run but I think VCU has other plans. VCU has been dominating this series and I feel like their defense will get the best of the Hawks.

Pick: VCU Rams -2.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 12:00pm cst: Wisconsin Badgers vs. Purdue Boilermakers -5; Total 143

I hate Purdue but they have such a rebounding edge over Wisconsin. It’s always hard betting against Edey because of the amount of free throws he gets. This number has run far too low. I’ll back Purdue.

Pick: Purdue -5 (-115) [via DraftKings]

  • 12:00pm cst: Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Auburn Tigers -8; Total 143

Mississippi State played the game of their lives last night. Can they do it again? Auburn should be well rested. I just don’t think MSU can repeat that type of performance.

Pick: Auburn -8 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:00pm cst: UAB Blazers vs. South Florida Bulls -2; Total 145

UAB won this matchup earlier in the season by four points. If you look a little bit deeper, USF had the better game but UAB shot 41 free throws compared to the USF 19. I like the revenge here for USF in a must win game.

Pick: South Florida -2 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:30pm cst: Nebraska Cornhuskers vs. Illinois Fighting Illini -4.5; Total 153.5

Nebraska had a great shooting night against Indiana. Will they be able to replicate that? Illinois dominated the rebounding department the last time these two teams met. I think Illinois has a better game and takes care of business with their size.

Pick: Illinois -4.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:30pm cst: St. Bonaventure Bonnies vs. Duquesne Dukes -1; Total 134.5

The Bonnies pulled off an improbable victory against Loyola-Chicago. I don’t think they will be so fortunate once again. Duquesne plays a very physical style of defense that will give them trouble like Loyola. Except Loyola could not make any layups or free throws and blew the game. I like Duquesne.

Pick: Duquesne -1 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 2:30pm cst: Texas A&M Aggies vs. Florida Gators -3; Total 151.5

Texas A&M played the game of their lives against Kentucky. They shot 50% from 3PT making more than 20 something that is out of the ordinary for them. I’m betting that it doesn’t happen again. Florida has great size that gave A&M trouble earlier this season. Florida continues to get disrespected.

Pick: Florida -3 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 4:30pm cst: Temple Owls vs. Florida Atlantic Owls -13.5; Total 142.5

FAU is a great team but this is an interesting spread. I am guessing it is because Temple has been playing for awhile now and their legs may getting tired. There is also the fact that they are playing to prove they do not throw games so they don’t go to jail (joking). I’ll take the points.

Pick: Temple +13.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:00pm cst: Iowa State Hawkeyes vs. Houston Cougars -5.5; Total 121.5

This is probably a pair of two of the hottest teams playing right now. I think this game will come down to the rebounding battle. Houston’s defense has been lock down this whole tournament and I’m still backing them.

Pick: Houston -5.5 (-108) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:00pm cst: San Diego State Aztecs -2.5 vs. New Mexico State Lobos; Total 141

New Mexico and their guards are playing great right now. They have the rebounding to match the Aztecs as well. I have to go with the hot team in a coin flip game.

Pick: New Mexico State +2.5 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 5:30pm cst: Marquette Golden Eagles vs. UConn Huskies -9; Total 141.5

Marquette has actually been playing great without Tyler Kolek but is it enough to stay within 9.5 of UConn? This is such a bad matchup for Marquette.

Pick: UConn -9 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:30pm cst: North Carolina State Wolfpack vs. North Carolina Tar Heels -9.5; Total 144

It just feels like one of situations where everyone is going to want to bet NC State so it’s probably the perfect time to back the Tar Heels. Kevin Keatts gets a two year extension if he wins this game. Gut says Carolina, heart says NC State. Going gut.

Pick: North Carolina -9.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]

  • 7:30pm cst: UTEP Miners vs. Western Kentucky -3; Total 145

We have a UTEP 12/1 ticket that is still live. They have been playing great defense for 40 minutes each game especially dominating the second halves of games. UTEP has struggled against WKU. Whoever wins the rebounding battle seems to win this matchup. Riding with the Miners. No hedge!

Pick: UTEP +3 (-112) [via DraftKings]

  • 8:00pm cst: Oregon Ducks vs. Colorado Buffalos -2.5; Total 141.5

I don’t like how Oregon matches up with Colorado in this game. Colorado survived a game they should have lost. The Buffs have a nice rebounding edge.

Pick: Colorado -2.5 (-110) [via DraftKings]
