College Basketball Season Record: 48-42-3 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X
5:30pm cst: Cleveland State Vikings vs. Youngstown St. Penguins -2.5; Total 146
The Horizon league kicks off today and we should have a decent early game here. The Cleveland State Vikings are not getting much respect with this line in my opinion. They have a much better offense and defense than the Penguins. I’m afraid the Penguins will not be able to keep pace with the Vikings scoring. I’ll take the points with the road team in a pure numbers play.

6:15pm cst: Tennessee Volunteers vs. North Carolina Tar Heels -2; Total 145
Both teams have size and can rebound. Tennessee has problems scoring during crunch time. North Carolina impressed me plenty during their Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. Villanova bullied them on the boards. Will that happen again tonight? I give UNC the upper hand because of their offense and home court advantage.

8:00pm cst: Colorado Buffaloes vs. Colorado State Rams -3; Total 149
Colorado has been getting a ton of respect from the books and I have no idea why. We continue to fade them and cash. We do that once again tonight. CSU is our 20th ranked team for a reason. I’m not finished buying on the Rams.

8:15pm cst: Duke Blue Devils -4.5 vs. Arkansas Razorbacks; Total 149.5
We know Duke is a better team on a neutral but here is a great situational spot for the Razorbacks. Arkansas has been embarrassed in my opinion two games in a row and now they are back home. Duke does not have a great rebounding edge so that helps out Arkansas a ton. I expect a spirited effort from Arkansas where they need to have the physical, toughness edge and they can beat Duke. Buying low on Arkansas.

8:15pm cst: Boston College Eagles vs. Vanderbilt Commodores -2; Total 144.5
Boston College plays a slower style of basketball and Vandy wants to speed you up a bit. Vanderbilt is young and plays a little wild. Both teams have dropped two games in a row. This is a coin flip game that I believe favors the home team. They could not have played any worse against Arizona State last week where the Sun Devils could not miss a shot. I like Vandy’s speed tonight.
