College Basketball Season Record: 43-37-2 — Betting 1 Unit to Win X

• 12:00pm cst: Florida Atlantic Owls -2.5 vs. Virginia Tech Hokies; Total 148.5

I expect this to be a track meet / 3PT contest. Both teams love to shoot the three and whichever one has the better day from behind the arc will win the game. Something I noticed during the Owls game against Texas A&M, the “home” crowd might make the difference for the Owls. This game is played in Florida and there are plenty of FAU fans in the building. I also like the Owls defense much more than VaTech.

• 3:00pm cst: Butler Bulldogs vs. Boise State Broncos -1.5; Total 142

Another game where Boise is favored and I believe the other team should be. Butler is getting better every game. They also have much better metrics than Boise in every category. Wrong team favored by my numbers.

• 5:30pm cst: Iowa State Cyclones -1.5 vs. Texas A&M Aggies; Total 134.5

This Iowa State team came into this tournament a bit overrated in my opinion and they have been exposed by better teams. Now they face an A&M team that we rate very highly. Maybe the Cyclones finally have a great offense night but I’m not buying it against the Aggies defense off of a loss.
