11:00AM CT: Maryland Terrapins vs. Wisconsin Badgers -10; Total 44.5
I was not too impressed with Wisconsin against Alabama. That was a huge step up in competition for the Badgers, but the defense showed weaknesses against the pass. That is what Maryland has been thriving at early in the season. Freshman quarterback Malik Washington will be challenged on the road. Will he be up for it? I think so. Once this number went from Wisconsin -7 to Maryland +10, it suggests these teams are closer to even on a neutral field. This Wisconsin defense can be exposed. Maryland will have to step up in this one, but I think the offense is up to the task. Let’s not forget Miami (Ohio) played the Badgers tough at Camp Randall.

11:00AM CT: Syracuse Orangemen vs. Clemson Tigers -17; Total 54.5
This was the Encyclopedia’s best bet from our Radio Show, and I’m tailing. We discussed it all week, and this is a great opportunity for Clemson to try and get its season back on track. Dabo Swinney has been fired up all week talking to the media, so I can only imagine how practice has been going. Clemson finally looked good against Georgia Tech, so this feels like the game to show out against a much weaker opponent. Tennessee showed out against the Orange but let off the gas a bit. This is why we have two plays that correlate with Clemson putting the pedal to the metal.

11:00AM CT: Arkansas Razorbacks -7 vs. Memphis Tigers; Total 61
This is a brutal sandwich spot for the Razorbacks. They played a tough game last week against the Ole Miss Rebels, and now they travel to the Liberty Bowl with Notre Dame on deck next week. The Memphis Tigers are flying under the radar but are very much G5 CFP contenders. This is a mini playoff game for them. Also, an early kick, so the Tigers just might sneak up on the Razorbacks. I do not trust Sam Pittman either. He’s a good offensive line coach but not a game manager. This number is now down to Arkansas -6.5. That’s why you need to tune in to the Live Show!
Play: Memphis +7 (-105) [via BetOnline]
2:30PM CT: North Carolina Tar Heels vs. Central Florida Knights -7; Total 47
This number has moved from 7.5 to a flat 7. I gave out North Carolina +7.5 on the Live Show with a chance to win this game outright. UCF has not impressed thus far. They’ve actually struggled a bit out of the gate with Jax State but are now coming off a bye week. After getting whipped in the second half by TCU, we don’t really know what to expect from the Tar Heels. They do have a couple more games under their belt, which should help. I am still a Gio Lopez fan. They have a strong backfield, but it’s the defense I worry about. I like getting the touchdown. Too much respect for UCF.
Play: North Carolina +7.5 (-120) [via BetOnline]
2:30PM CT: Michigan Wolverines -1 vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers; Total 47.5
As I talked about, this is a major fade of quarterback Bryce Underwood and interim head coach Biff Poggi. This is the perfect opportunity for Matt Rhule to bring Nebraska into the top third of the Big Ten. Nebraska isn’t the quality of Oklahoma, but the Cornhuskers’ defense can give Michigan some problems. I have not been impressed by the Wolverines thus far. This should be a dogfight. Give me the home side.
Play: Nebraska ML (-105) [via BetOnline]
6:30PM CT: Florida Gators vs. Miami Hurricanes -7.5; Total 50.5
This number shot up to Miami -9.5 in the dead of the night on Thursday. There has since been some buyback on the Gators. Florida has looked awful two weeks in a row against USF and LSU, losing both. Now, super coach (sarcasm sign) Billy Napier is supposed to get his team up against one of their biggest rivals? I am betting no. Miami has shown they are one of the best teams in the country. As long as Cam Ward continues to play at this level, the Hurricanes will be tough to beat.
Play: Miami -7.5 (-105) [via BetOnline]
9:30PM CT: California Golden Bears -14 vs. San Diego State Aztecs; Total 47
The Cal Bears are red hot and continue to fly under the national radar. The Aztecs, on the other hand, have been awful this season. One thing about San Diego State is they cannot defend the pass. If Cal stays focused, they can run up the score in this one. I also gave this one out when it was -13.
Play: Cal -14 (-115) [via BetOnline]
